      <image:caption>My interest in nutrition started in my late 20’s. I was leading a less than healthy lifestyle and more often than not, I felt tired, sluggish and bloated. Out of sheer desperation to feel better, I read a book I was given on detoxing. I felt totally out of my comfort zone but soon found myself following the books 9-day plan. It was a simple plan but I stuck to it and the results were just amazing. This was the moment that I realised the power of nutrition and its impact on health.</image:caption>

Out of desperation to feel better I read a book I was given on detoxing. I felt totally out of my comfort zone but soon found myself following a plan. It was tough and very different to my ‘norm’ but was simple enough to follow and the results were amazing. I was hooked. This was the moment I realised the power of nutrition and its impact on health. Inspired, in 2005, I enrolled myself onto a 4-year diploma at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition.</image:caption>

My own experience of a regular yoga practice and an array of treatments has shown me how beneficial and profound these are in assisting our bodies in maintaining this precious homeostasis and also bringing our bodies back to health, when they have faltered. I am qualified in and practice deep tissue massage, reflexology, reiki, Thai Massage and yoga (vinyasa, yin, restorative, pregnancy). I have worked as a therapist and teacher for many years at The Yoga Garden and also taught the Thai Massage Practitioner Training course there. I run my own wellness business in West Sussex providing one to one yoga, intuitive therapeutic body work (including massage and energetic healing) and wellness retreats.
